Polishing & Cutting Pads

Quite possibly the most important tool choice that you will make is a polishing pad. We offer high-quality pads from Lake Country and Buff and Shine. We usually recommend that if you plan on compounding and polishing a vehicle, you get 3 pads for each step. 

For Polishing, we recommend the Orange Pad from Lake Country. It often will provide acceptable results for polishing most vehicles. 

For compounding, we recommend the use of a Microfiber Cutting Pad. Microfiber Cutting Pads cut faster than foam and manage the slinging of compound much better than foam does. Make sure to work your area at a slower speed so the compound doesn’t get overheated.
